John,
I downloaded the Dicky Betts lessons on line and am very pleased. It was easy to burn to my own DVD. It's nice to get it right away and not have to pay shipping. I like to use the A-B button on my DVD remote control in order to select and loop whatever section of the DVD that I like. A lot of people are not aware of that button. It's a really handy feature.

Is the 3 DVD standard slide guitar package with the free warren haynes slide dvd a package that is also available for download? If not, I will buy the DVD package and wait, but it would be nice to get my hands on it today in the form of a downlaod.

Thanks,
Dave Ozuna

John,
So how many standard tuning lesson packages do you have available now? Is the "Slide Guitar in Standard Tuning: Warren Haynes DVD" package the same as the "DVD standard tuning part 2" package? Will you have them available for purchase soon...maybe bundle them all together?

I play a 7 string Jackson Dinky Reverse guitar and love to play slide in standard tuning on it. Still struggling with slide in other tunings.

It seems to me that standard tuning blues slide is based mostly on pentatonic scales. I like to play country slide as well. Country slide seems to be more based on the diatonic scales and arpeggios compared to blues slide. What do you think?

Superb John! I would love to have these licks especially while traveling with one guitar. I am shocked in regards to the extent of your musical vocabulary! I WILL purchase.

As always you can't go wrong on these lessons. I can't wait for it to come out. Looks like some more great lessons. Standard tuning slide is a little more difficult but easy way to play slide and not tune your guitar every time especially if you own just one guitar. Keep up the versatile lessons up John, you're on track with each lesson.

Great stuff agian John. Standard tuning though doesn't give the tonal flexibility whereby you can maybe use the open string sounds for a bit more gutsy sound. I think slide in standard restricts you to more top end playing style ?

It looks like a lick/vocabulary resorce. It looks interesting and fun. Also gives a broader knowlege of the mecanics of playing Blues Slide guitar in standard tuning!
It would be great too to have the "CAGED" system aproach to standard slide playing and how to connect the dots to see the big picture. This is something I have been experimenting with latelly and it gives you very satisfying results...its also a diferent and valid aproach to the pentatonic/blues scales thing, wich I also like.
I woul like to have this Download version for yesterday ;)
Congratulations for your unique work!
