Gibson recognizes John W. Tuggle as an accomplished teacher on the Duane Allman, slide guitar style. This was a major step in developing this website in the beginning years.

Before Learning Guitar Now launched in March of 2008, I had been recording videos of slide guitar lessons and putting them on YouTube. I was starting to get some people to check them out, and the website was about ready to launch.
Right after Learning Guitar Now went live, the Gibson Guitar Company contacted me through YouTube and wanted to know if they could use some of my slide guitar lessons on the Gibson Lifestyle section. Needless to say I was ecstatic! Gibson makes my favorite guitars, and currently I own the 61 SG reissue, ES-335, and a Hummingbird. These guitars sound amazing and are worth every penny I paid for them!
I am very honored to be on Gibson.com and look forward to playing Gibson guitars for the rest of my life.
